Sophie Bevan
soprano

A graduate of the Benjamin Britten International Opera School, Sophie was awarded the Queen Mother Rose Bowl for excelling in music. Her wide concert repertoire extends from Handel to James Macmillan, while her successes on the opera stage have included Boris Godonov, Cosi fan Tutte, The Coronation of Poppea, Radamisto, The Mikado, and Der Rosenkavalier for English National Opera, and The Marriage of Figaro and Die Zauberflöte for Garsington Opera.

Sophie won the 2010 Critics’ Circle Award for Exceptional Young Talent, and the Times Breakthrough Award at the 2012 South Bank Sky Arts Awards.
